Long lost love and extortion. Epic stare downs and exorcisms. Bowls of soup and cute little creatures that live in vending machines. This group of directors has really let their imaginations run wild.

Not unlike the protagonist in The Attic who finds an unexpected world upstairs from his living room. Little Kaiju is the whimsical journey of a cute little creature that lives in a vending machine as it explores Tokyo.

In Yeah Rite two priests perform their frst real exorcism, with surprising results. In Chalk Talk a grandfather goes to his grandson’s show and tell and fnds something that he thought he would never see again.

And the story of Mr. Bellpond is the delightfully dreadful tale of a composer consumed with guilt and melancholy after his wife disappears, only to have an anonymous extortionist blackmail him into composing a piece for him in exchange for information on the whereabouts of his wife.
