Every person is driven to overcome some sort of adversity in his life, no matter how small it may be. Each character in this selection of short films must face these struggles head on, in order to ultimately better himself.
A deaf teenager suffering from severe Tinnitus strives to overcome her own irrevocable psychological and physical alienation in order to find peace within her world of constant noise, in Beneath the Waves. Before a struggling writer can commit suicide, characters from his latest book stage An Intervention and try to convince him to stay alive and finish their story.
Middle aged metal rock star Tarantula Moonrocket tries to take control of his career when he disappointedly discovers that the record company owns his name and image, and it seems he has no choice but to follow their orders.
Two Scoops of Love shows how ice cream makes people happier, makes them smile and even fall in love. And in I Am Not a Moose, find out if Jeremy is able to make it in LA as he gives up performing at children’s birthday parties as Monty the Moose.
